Admission

Philosophy of admissions:

  • My philosophy of teaching is to create an environment that allows for supervised exploration. I believe that the most significant learning occurs in situations that are both meaningful and realistic.
  • My classrooms are always focused on the specific needs of my students. I work hard to differentiate learning so that each student’s unique skills are emphasized
  • It is a self-reflective statement that describes what you believe and provides concrete examples of what you do in the classroom to support those beliefs. It is written in the first person and should convey a professional image of your teaching.
  • Grammatical rules should be followed at all times. Teachers are held to high standards. Errors are unacceptable.
  • Be consistent with the information you provide on the application and on your resume. Make sure there are no contradictions of dates and places of employment and education.
